The Château de Rodié is a splendid place to relax. What you do NOT get is piped music, mini-bars, unfeasibly long menus and pre-packed smiles. What you WILL get; spacious rooms, antique furniture, authentic to the region, old stone walls and huge beams, peace and quiet occasionally broken by the squawk or baa of an animal and, for those that want it, the chance to be involved in the daily life of a country house and farm. Those who take meals with us will enjoy the produce of our farm and gardens and local wine and dinners go on until late – very late. You may not have breakfast before eight o’clock (far too uncivilized) but you may have it as late as you like. Our food is either organic or “origine controllée” and we are vegetarian friendly.

Dinner – this is served in the courtyard under the arches whenever the weather permits, and in the grande salle at most other times. In the depths of winter dinner is served in the kitchen which contains our collection of old household utensils. Menus are compiled on a daily basis and we ask guests to let us know in the morning whether they wish to join us for the evening.

La Chambre Bleue. This contains two three-quarter sized beds (110cm). The room looks out over the barn and the valley of the Boudouyssou.

La Chambre Bordeaux. This is mostly furnished with Arts and Crafts furniture and two three-quarter sized beds (110cm)

La Tour de la Forge. Containing two three-quarter sized beds, this room also has some interesting architectural stone features.
