TheRegion - Chateau de Rodie

Le Château de Rodié is an ancient fortress (XIII th and XVI th centuries) and an organic farm set in 134 acres of private nature reserve in an unspoilt valley on the borders of Quercy and the Agenais. After lengthy restoration, the Château is now a comfortable home with large bedrooms, spacious sitting rooms and a large fenced swimming pool.

The area is rich in history and is noted for its gastronomy whilst the numerous bastides and villages offer a remarkable variety of interest.

According to the season, a gentle walk from the Château will delight lovers of wild plants, of bird life, pond life and rare domestic breeds of Aquitaine. You may enjoy the Château de Rodié either as a guest in the chambres d’hôtes, eating with the family and participating, for those who wish to do so, in the farm life; or in the self-catering gîte for large or small numbers.
